telling rotary’s story

Welcome to the March issue of Rotary Digital – and thank you for the positive feedback we received from many Rotarians with the new format.

Trying to tell Rotary’s story is not easy because there are so many different aspects of Rotary – and sometimes it’s not an easy tale to tell.

We’re not just all about polio, just as much that Rotary is not solely focused on hyper-local community projects. Ours is an organisation which reaches out to all corners the globe and delivers projects according to the seven areas of focus.

Thank heavens, therefore, that we have this new Rotary Digital magazine which offers even more opportunity than ever to tell Rotary’s story in an easily accessible way, resonating not just with Rotarians, but also those with an interest in our work.

This month’s issue has a strong focus on peace and mental health, two of the key themes of Rotary International President, Gordon McInally, who hosted the Presidential Peace Conference in London in February.

We carry a report from that conference – there will be more coverage in April’s print magazine – and reflect as well on some of Rotary’s work around mental health.

Enjoy the digital magazine, and if you have any stories, or feedback, then please email me at: editor@rotarygbi.org.
